Anytime we play Mulkey, I like to bring this back up in hopes that it gets a few more hits.
A coach trash talking our (ANY) players on the opposing team during the game and then putting hands on them in the post game line…. The woman is trash!

Definitely a low point in her career. I appreciate it every time you post it!
Can someone fill me in on the backstory that led to this "exchange"?
I am also a terrible lip reader, does anyone know what was spewing from Mulkey's mouth? (If Mulkey tries any of that nonsense with Vic's team, there is no holding him back--not even Kyla).
And I think Empress was just answering a leading question about the Big 12 Tourney and OF COURSE Texas wanted another crack at em.What Mulkey said was "Be careful what you ask for." I do not remember the exact back story. Just some normal competitive remarks by Empress - something like wanting to get a chance to face Baylor again in the Big 12 tournament. Empress was as passionate a player as there is. I am not surprised to see her moving up the coaching ranks. For those who don't know, she is now an assistant coach at Ole Miss.
This game will be my first time ever attending a game at Moody. Can someone please give me some guidance on where park or general information/tios about making my way to the stadium as little stress-inducing as possible? Thanks in advance!!
You are correct at what Mulkety said from the sidelines. She was referring to an answer Empress gave to a reporter basically saying that UT hoped they got another crack at Baylor. Normal pre-game chatter from a student athlete. But regardless of what she said, Mulkey is the adult… or should be. And Baylor had won by a large margin so even more pathetic for Mulkey to say anything. What Mulkey said was "Be careful what you ask for." I do not remember the exact back story. I park in the Trinity Garage (MLK & Trinity). You have to get on Trinity from 15th street. You can pay with a credit card at the gate. The walk to Moody is not far. Trinity is closest if you get there early. It fills up quickly. Garage Q or R at San Jacinto at 18th might be open because of the large crowd that is expected. For the South Carolina game, they announced they were opening doors on the East side of Moody. No one knows directions, so we had to inform confused people that we were standing on the West side of Moody (long, long lines to get in) and that the East side of Moody is the side closest to I-35. But there is a steep concrete ramp/sidewalk going up from West to East, so we we passed on the chance to do a stairmaster right before the game.Trinity is closest if you get there early. it’s a 15 minute, slightly uphill walk to Moody. If you are real lucky, you might find street parking on your way to the garage.
Personally I would get to your parking spot at least 45 mins before the game. The Moody has lots of food and drink spaces to hang out until game time.

I heard about the east gates as well but elected to stay in line in the West. My seat mates said they had gone to the east entrance and were turned away by staff saying the information was in error. For the South Carolina game, they announced they were opening doors on the East side of Moody. Notice the "~" in front of that 12:30. I'm pretty sure doors are going to open at 1pm (an hour before) just like last week. They might have started letting students in early but they didn't open the front doors until exactly one hour before tip.I'm glad to see they'll be opening the doors at 12:30 instead of 1:00.
Thanks for pointing that out. I see now that that isn't a post from UT Athletics, but from the Charge--must be only for students.Notice the "~" in front of that 12:30.
