I was hopig Cam McDaniel from Coppell would be on list. I was really impressed with the footage I saw of him givng that halftime speech during game vs SLC this past year. For a sophomore to be that kind of leader really caught my attention.

I know it is still early for this class but hey - it looks like we are about through with the 2010 classes and it is up to the recruits there now that have outstanding offers.
I looked over the prospects and the following have so far expressed medium interests in coming to UT. I will list by numbers:

1,3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 15, 18, 21, 24, 31, 35, 37, 38, 43, 50,53, 56, 63,64,82, 94, and 96.

I know we will have to address needs in this class depending on what get with the remaining 2010 offers. We will probably be limited in scholarships for this class. For sure I think we take No. 11 if he wants to come.

Not listed above is No. 74 who is the only one that has expressed a high interest for UT. He is QB at Austin Lake Travis. If he is willing to verbal early I think we should take him.

Of course much depends on what is shown during the junior year coming up. We will see. Bear in mind it is early and many don't have any schools listed as interest.

Bill...I tend to agree with you on No. 74. A third generation legacy should get a spot no matter what. Hell, his Dad walked on, before he earned a scholarship. Granddad played the same position in the fifties. Does this family bleed Orange, or what?

I wish we could find and get a kicker. One who is accurate on long and short field goals and who can place kick the ball high and long on kickoffs to get kicks in the endzone with time for our coverage to get there. Also who has a very good punting average and can do the same thing there.

Interesting discussion on the qbs but I still feel we should take Michael Brewer if he is willing to verbal early since his interest in Texas is high and for the great contribution his father and grandfather did for us in football.

Nebraska seems to have the inside track with Green. It would seem the Green brothers are serious about playing together.

We shall see.

I actually think Sims is better than Marquez. Not that Marquez is some slouch, but that is my early impression.
