Just wanted to make sure he got his due. By no means do I want to take anything away from Preston and his moment Sunday or his unbelievable career at UT (and I'm guessing if Brandon had to do it all over again, perhaps he would have drawn it up the exact same way for Preston to be the hero), but had Loy's shot been 10 feet to the left (let alone down the left field line)...Preston would have had to wait until this weekend to be the hero

You have to love the way Loy plays the game, very relaxed with a lot of poise and consistancy. The kid certainly does not look like a frosh. The move from third to short was a great move defensively as well as offensively. Loy was hitting 222 and is now hitting 370 in the 37 games since the switch. I'm glad that he followed his pops to Texas.

'YeaTexasFight' is absolutely correct. Loy's ball traveled a LOT farther than Preston's . ..... 8 inches higher and it is a dinger....game over ( not just tied )

It's funny because Loy said after the game that he was glad his ball did not go out because it set up "Old Papa" to be the hero. Good stuff.

Brandon rapidly became one of my favorite players this year. It's nice to see a legacy take the field and really shine like he did this year.

He has been a valuable contributor since the season started. He really seems to be hitting much better now than early in the season.
