Might be misspelled. Breathe. Move on.

Crazy question, but I love this guy’s passion for UT. I assume LHN goes bye bye next year.
I am in hopes somehow he lands somewhere SEC network, ESPN, Fox ??
So back to my question. Anyone know if LHN has a longer shelf life and if Lowell has a home?

I don't mind him when he's doing studio stuff. But when he calls games on LHN I'm glad I have the option to sync up Craig to the TV

First of all, you spelled his name wrong so instant permanent ban for you. Kidding. No idea what happens to him when LHN inevitably shuts down on July 1, 2024.

Lowell and Rod Babers (I thimk it was Rob) toured the state doing PR for LHN prior to it going on air. Had never heard of him before. He was very passionate about LHN. I can't even imagine the hours he put in over the years.
I agree hope he finds a home st Texas.
Still have an LHN couzee and hat. Will miss LHN

He bleeds orange. Maybe a back office, or a palm-pressing-the-alums sort of position would fit him well. Or a host, show intro, and interview guy. There's a lot of places where he could fit. I'm not sure calling games is his forte.

:bevo:

I have never had LHN (Comcast), so I have had little exposure to Galindo. Any possibility he takes over Memorial Stadium? He canNOT possibly be in the same league as whomever has kidnapped the microphone at Memorial Stadium.

Clever man Phil. Too complicated for me. I just put up with a play, sometimes a play and a half, behind in my ear.

My biggest question/fear when LHN goes dark is what happens with baseball being televised, baseball season alone makes the LHN worth having. Are important/big enough that we still get all home games televised on SEC network or what?

Phil.

Can you contact CDC's office and help them out. Sitting in the club, they broadcast Craig Way's audio into the club because the PA cannot be heard (what a blessing that is). It is always one or two plays behind what you are seeing.

Thanks- i looked and couldn’t find the end date for LHN.

No guarantee it shuts down that day. That's just the day we officially join the SEC. Since ESPN operates both the SEC Network and LHN, it seems like a reasonable candidate, but maybe they wait a few more weeks or months to pull the plug.

While my guess is that he's going to move on to do commentating for another network, I hope that the university considers keeping him on as part of the athletics department. He could easily do the interviews and behind-the-scenes stuff. He also might get too much of a knack for being a Texas homer in the media circles, especially with his son named "Mack."

I have a feeling I won't be able to watch all the BB, BB, VB, SB matches I've enjoyed watching so much. Although I'll have to admit I'd probably watch paint dry before watching a soccer match. No offense to anyone, but it's just happens to be extremely boring for me.

Haha Run have to laugh at your humility on the soccer issue. As I believe I have remarked to you before on the issue having had daughters, sons, and grandsons play I have a different and more respectful feeling toward the amazing talent this sport requires in order to excel. But I respect your opinion.

How do you sync Craig Way with TV? So, I’m technically challenged? I’m over it. Any help out there?
Here is how I do it…its going to sound harder than it is.
1. I use my IPHONE to tune into LHN channel i.e. statcast which is the radio feed.
2. I play that from my phone to a bluetooth speaker.
3. I tune my television to the game
4. Right when the kickers foot hits the ball for kicks off, i pause the television and wait…. Sometimes paused for 10+ seconds
5. When Craig Way talks about ‘we are underway’ i unpause the television.

Sometimes i fine tune it, sometimes i have to wait for a play or Way to say ‘eweres with the snap’ and the unpause the tv again

Guys, ive gotten dead on over the years and now the ref in game penalty announcement synced with my bluetooth speaker is dead on.

Thats how much i love Ways calling of the game and i get info the broadcasters dont have access to.

I suspect we'll have to pay for ESPN+ to see all the Horns baseball, basketball, etc games after this year.

Dad #1 asks dad#2 how to play soccer & what are the rules, before the season ending Dads vs Kids soccer game.

Dad#2 says "if the ball is rolling, kick it. If it's not rolling, kick it till it does".

Sums up soccer...

Damn, NR, I think you just qualified for a PhD from A&M in Electrical Engineering.
No sir, i did reference an Aggie undergrad textbook and the procedure included two empty soup cans and a string.
To adjust the delay, one only need shorten or lengthen the string as required.
