Love the throwbacks!

Those sweet 70s unis make me feel like a schoolgirl again! I went to the very first game they played and lots more. I worked at the ballyard in my senior year of high school.

The summer between my freshman and sophomore years at Texas, my friend Karen and I figured out how to get into the games for free.

Man, I miss those days. But I don't miss the classically bad baseball the Rangers played back then!

am i the only one that doesn't like the powder blues & never did?

I always thought we went to the powder blues b/c KC did. KC was our daddy at the time....I kinda digged the modern look our regular unis gave us back then.

TA, I was at the opener too, got there with my buddy at the moment Frank hit the homer in the 1rst inning.... I missed the opening game ceremony, but lo and behold on a ticket for this season's game there's a pic of Ted Williams and the starting lineup donning cowboy hats along a baseline. Geesh I wish I'd have gotten to the park 10 minutes earlier!

In that pic, Ted Williams, Lenny Randle, Dave Nelson, Hondo, Tom Grieve, Joe Lovitto and others....Have 4 of those tix w/ that picture. Awesomeness.
