So that's how Miles, Charlotte, etc get off the island. Jack is turning into Locke.

some serious craziness coming next week.

I wonder what Locke's endgame is with Jacob.

discuss!

I wonder who Jacob really is. I bet Locke wants to know and wants everyone else to know as well. Is 'Jacob' made up by Alpert?
Who is Alpert? And I do believe that the end of the series will be none of this ever happened.

If the final episode ends next season with them all getting off the plane to live their lives like none of LOST happened, I will be an angry man!

I read on another thread that Jacob is Jack.

So, you think the show ends with their time on the island being....lost?

I still stick to my theory that Faraday's original theory is the correct one.

"And I do believe that the end of the series will be none of this ever happened."

Now that Jack said as much to Kate, I no longer believe that's the ending. It's too obvious.

Alpert gave the compass to John.

But Alpert got the compass from John.

So who did John get it from? Alpert of course. Who got it from John.

Why did Locke have to introduce himself to Richard's people on the beach before persuading them to join him in the trek to visit Jacob?

Hadn't Locke already been living among those same people and leading
them three years earlier, i.e., before he went down the well, broke his leg, turned the wheel, and got shipped back to the real world?

I remember him working his way towards sleeping with Juliet before leaving the island, but I still believe my man Sawyer is the only man to attain that feat.

I have decided the show will end with John Madden waking up on his bus. It will all just have been a dream of his induced by his fear of flying and too much greasy turducken.

Wasn't Alpert in 2 places at once? I recall him in the underground tunnels with the bomb and also leading Locke to Jacob. I wonder how this fits in to the big picture.

They all died during the flaming arrow bit. Or perhaps from time sickness like Charlotte. They can't still be around, undetected, after 3 years of Sawyer's group being in Dharma.

Unless, for some reason, they can't time jump like the others and they are still stuck in the present on the island. Which I wouldn't be able to figure out WHY that is, but what the hey.

I forgot about the flaming arrows. Still, were they all killed? It's a little convenient that the only survivors were Sawyer, Julliette and Miles from a large group if the producers intend that to be the storyline.

All the plane survivors were jumping time which is why they were all attacked with flaming arrows.
