Lost 4/24

I'm ready....for Kate, Claire, Sun, Juliet, and Charlotte to have a mud-wrestling dream sequence with Shannon. I would also appreciate the irony if Penny made it rain on them while mud-wrestling.

I enjoyed watching the smoke monster obliterate Widmore's troops.

"I'm going to kill your daughter"

Things just stepped up a notch.

This episode felt like it moved too quickly and left too many things unclear. But I gues that just provides ample opportunity for the rest of the episodes this season to fill in the gaps.

Great episode, I wanna know what's in Ben's little cave now damnit

By the way, what day is it on the island? i wanna say like Ealry jan 2005 maybe?

Man, Ben is awesome. I can't think of a character on any show more manipulative and backstabbing. He owns. Michael Emerson should win an Emmy this year. You absolutely hate the guy. I wish the whole damn show was Ben-centric with a little bit of Kate and Sun thrown in.

I think he killed Sayid's girl so he could use Sayid, but that seems way too obvious for Lost. Since he stole the island from Widmore, I'm also guessing Widmore ran Dharma?

Great episode. I'd say it was the 2nd best, after the pilot.

Wow!

I think Ben"s "Cave" is how he got to the desert and somehow got the smoke monster to rescue them. Somehow he manipulated things in Oct '05 and came back.

Just my 2 Cents

Either way... Wow!

An intense episode.

Michael Emerson is amazing. Naveen Andrews did a great job in this one too. Really fantastic.

I need your help. Our cable, which never goes out, went out for about three minutes last night. Right after Faraday interprets the Morse Code answer, the guy (I forget his name) says, "He's lying." And the cable's out until Ben is getting out of a car in London to go see Widmore.

What happened during that time?

Sun, Kate and Claire had a tickle fight and then rubbed lotion on each other.

Anyone else thing maybe Kate is not aging well? I'm actually preferring Juliet now, particularly after her bathing suit episode a month ago.

"Everything you have you took from me"

Anyone else get the sense that the Ben/Widmore bedroom scene had all the classic undercurrents of a father-son dynamic? Just a thought.

Thanks for the update. I'm a girl, so I don't care about Kate's hotness, but gee whiz --- her face is getting wider? I don't see that.

But what was the interpretation of the Morse Code? Faraday says that they don't say anything specifically about the doctor's death but that a helicopter was coming tomorrow. And the old guy says, "He's lying!" And pphhhhhhhtttttt. Cable's out. So did he know Morse Code, too?

He did know morse code. He told them that the message was actually "the doctor's fine". I guess the interesting thing to me about that was that the guy seemed to be lying totally on his own, with no direction from the ship.

Tells me he either is scared for his life and is stringing them along because he thinks the castaways will hurt him otherwise, or he is a lot more invested in not letting people off the island than he has always pretended.

Personally I don't know how anyone can listen to a morse code transmission and understand it. I guess it takes practice.

Oh, and I don't get the face-widening comment either, and I DO care about Kate's hotness. But I'd also agree that Claire is definitely growing on me.

Hehe you must hate Welshmen(women) then!
I didn't see Claire as whiny so much, mainly because I think that comes from hanging around Charlie. His whininess was so strong that I think it bled over onto people around him.
And btw, it's disturbing that Hurley found his way onto that list at all, even if it was to make a point.
