Lost 4/20

Good episode. I'm very curious on the Whidmore double-cross at the end. There's been at least one time he's come to the island planning to kill everyone, and I'm curious if there's some particular reason that he feels this needs to happen, other than the obvious super villain motivations.

yeah, I can figure out Whidmore either.

...but how's that any different from the rest of the series?

Not Locke keeps saying that they all have to leave together. Maybe Widmore figures if he kills the Losties they can't leave together so he keeps Not Locke trapped on the island.

The beach reunion was touching.

I guess slow motion and Bo Derek braids were out of the question.

The wife and I were sitting there when Jin and Sun were reunited and Sun was able to speak, and my wife goes "you were right!". I'm kinda like, about what??. She goes "you said Sun would be able to talk again when she found Jin". Prophet! Except, I can't remember how Sun lost her voice in the first place, and she's blaming NotLocke.

The "you're with me now" at the end was a bit creepy.

Wonder what's up with Widmore too.

Liked seeing people being reunited in the alternate timeline as well. Wonder what's going to happen with Jack operating on Locke.

Jack jumping off the boat because "he couldn't leave the island" was a bit surprising, Also, I think Desmond is still alive. I think Sayid is seeing the evil in Flocke and is ready to turn on him.

desmond is acting a lot like an all knowing peaceful being like jacob in the sideways universe. he seems to be bringing everyone back to the island. im not quite sure yet why he tried to kill locke but it appears everyone is eventually going to get back to the island on one timeline.

I didn't think there was enough emotion in or time spent on Sun & Jin's reunion. They haven't seen each other in 3 years.

I love the Citibank Vikings.

Is there any significance to unLocke's words to Jack at the end of the episode: "It's okay. You're with me now." Does this mean Jack is dead? Jack is on the side of unLocke? Just something to throw us off the trail?

Oceanic 815 crashed in 2004 in the OT. in the AT, Oceanic 815 landed in 2004, and events in the AT pick up from there, so yes:
OT = 2007
AT = 2004

When Real Locke landed on island originally he could suddenly walk. What if that was because he was healed by Jack in real world??

We're all assuming that the world where locke was just ran over is the alt timeline. What if its the real one all along and the one where the plane crashed is the alt one?

I think that Desmond was NOT trying to kill Locke, but rather was trying to get him to Jack.
