So, how many people are enjoying the time paradox so far?

So taking Ben to the temple is what changes him. that's really interesting.

When they handed him over to Alpert, I knew they were heading to the temple.

The Hurley and Miles dialogue was awesome this episode. Miles is one of my top 3 favorite characters on this show. Nothing but wit and sarcastic undertones coming from him anytime he speaks.

Geez, Kate looked awesome in that suit/dress in the supermarket. I don't think i've seen her look better on the show.

Previews for next week look AWESOME. I've been waiting to see more of the temple, especially how it relates to the smoke monster and the rest of the mythos of the island

Yea I really liked the Hurley Miles dialogue, but it seems that Hurley's question was answered by Alpert. I wonder if Sayid needed to shoot Ben for Ben to be the adult Ben became and Ben knew that?

Oh I forgot about the line where one of the Others objects to Alpert, saying Elle and Charles wouldn't be happy with him saving Ben. It'll be interesting seeing those two in the past

Elle is the woman who sent them to the plane to Guam? Charles was obvious, but I wasn't 100% certain who Elle was last night.

That's the only thought I had, and it was after the fact. I'm so busy most of the time trying to relate things that happened in the past to what is being said in the present. It is always a good thing when the DVD for the old season comes out. Makes catching up much easier.

Alpert isn't the smoke monster. The smoke monster seems to protect the temple. Alpert isn't a threat to the temple, so it doesn't come after him. We don't know why this is the case yet, and what purpose the Others have on the island after when we saw them in the 50's.

last two episodes have been great.

rest of the season left me scratching my head, but not in a good way.

So Jack screwed it up by not saving him. If he had helped, Ben would have never gone with the Others.

Jack is a douche!

did you notice when the others took ben to save his life they said, "his innocence will be lost, he will always be one of us" so basicaly he is admitting they are evil by saying this

ptown- "innocence" could also be interpreted as a lack of understanding or knowledge, rather than free from evil. It could have been that his innocence as to the true nature of the island will be gone forever.

I'm not saying this is the correct answer, but they put that language in for a reason, and this show loves to give you head fakes.
