Hopefully they can take the next two against Tech and WVU. After that comes a brutal four game stretch of Iowa State, Kansas State, Baylor and Kansas in that order.

Not too surprising, of course most would agree the OU loss hurt the most, a close game at home against a comparably talented team.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the Horns take back that game in Norman later on in another close one.

Expect sweeps by ISU, OSU, KU, BU, splits with OU, perhaps KSU, and sweeps of Tceh, WVU and TCU. That would result in an 8-10 Big 12 year.

Steal one from ISU, OSU, KU, BU and hold to the others and it's 9-9 and probably a dance card. If not, hello NIT, but it's going to be fun to watch the next 3-4 weeks --- I hope it's fun.

.500 in Big 12 get us in dance?

Yeah, .500 in the Big 12 (before the conference tournament) would put us at 20-11. Going 1-1 (my minimum hope) in the tourney would make us 21-12. Considering our wins over teams like UNC and Temple, and possible wins over tough Big 12 teams, I think the committee would see that favorably. If we didn't get in at 21-12, we'd be a top-4 seed in the NIT for sure.

Since the team's such a crapshoot right now, I think we could go anywhere from 11-7 to 5-13 in conference. The WVU game looked ok at times, but it was kind of messy towards the end. I'm kind of worried that we'll see more messy games, and I know it's sort of sick to want this, but I hope the messy games are against teams we "would have lost to" anyhow. Like KU. That way, we save our best games for teams that we have a better chance to beat.

You can pretty much go through the schedule and tell which games are W's and L's. I don't believe that's enough to make it.

We need to go 9-9 in conference to get in. A 20 win season and .500 record in what may be the highest RPI-rated conference in the country should put us comfortably in the Dance.

Problem is it's going to be hard to get 9 conference wins.
