Mavs beat Rox; Spurs 5 up on Hornets with 1 min left in OT after FInley hit tying 3 at end of Regulation.

Would be good match-up.

Mavs clinched 6th and since Spurs won and Rockets lost, the Spurs win SW. Denver/Portland winner clinches NW and will be 2nd seed. Spurs will be 3rd and play 6th seed Mavs.

They had 1-game lead on Blazers but had the tie-breaker so it Portland had no chance of finishing ahead of them - even though Denver lost to them tonight.and ended up tied for first in their division.

By losing to the Mavs, Houston goes from what seemed like a secure #3 seed to losing 1st round home court advantage.

After getting 72 points from the bench tonight to dispatch the Nugs, Portland will now host the Rockets.

Portland is a hot team, though Denver was coasting last night. Lakers s/b a slam dunk, but Jazz will give them a physical tussle.

Mavs vs Spurs will be good. Parker gives the Mavs trouble. I imagine our Aggy Antoine Wright will be given that assignment. Mavs have been playing great since Carlisle turned the keys over to Kidd. This is great time of year in NBA. Should be fun.
