Looking for UT necktie

I'm looking for a burnt orange and white necktie. I'd like it to be somewhat formal (no steerheads on it) and of decent quality. Here's one I found that is an option:

I like the bold diagonal stripes.

A while back I recall seeing a line of ties with school colors. I'm almost certain there was a Texas one. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the designer's name.

I have the Tennessee version of the tie you are wanting. Very simple "Big Orange" and white diagonal stripes. I got it at a Brooks Brothers in Knoxville when I was in school about 10 years ago, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. It was a bit pricey, but it has withstood the test of time very well.

There's no BB here in Austin, but you might try calling them to see. I'd bet they make a Longhorn version.

I sell a burnt orange rep stripe tie at my store in San Antonio. It looks fairly similar to the one that you pictured, except it doesn't have those little dotted lines on it.
I don't have the slightest idea how to post a picture of it here, but I can email you a picture if you shoot me an email.

I never understood paying $44.95 for a tie....seems so ridiculous.
I own 20-25 ties and wouldn't pay that much.

I have bought 3 slim ties in the last 2 weeks. Those things are baller...probably dropped $25+ on them though.

Ryan, its all a matter of priorities. Believe it or not, some people might not understand how we justify the costs of our Longhorn weekends. I just dropped a load on custom boots. Some people have different priorities. My buddy who spends $2,500 on his suits didn't understand how I could spring that much jack for boots. Priorities, again.

Here's one that's similar, but they also have some other ties. I don't know what a jacquard tie is, but I don't think mine is double-sided. The quality on the one I have - with the small white Longhorns - is good. Mine was a gift, and I'm pretty sure this is where they got it.

Looking more closely at the picture, mine isn't double-sided, as in being able to wear it on both sides, but it has a different pattern on the "skinny" portion than on the "tie" portion. My tie is the top one on the link above - the white longhorns on the front with the bold stripes on the "skinny" portion. You can obviously pick any of the three shown, or look at the other ties at Sue Patrick.

I've gotten quite a few gifts from there and everything has been quality. From your earlier posts, the second tie is probably what you are looking for.
