We’re technodolts in our home, and we don’t know how to save something from a DVR to a DVD. We don’t even have a DVD player. But I would like to have the 05 episodes to save forever on a DVD. Is there someone who could do that for me? I’m happy to pay for the DVDs, the shipping, and the time it takes.

I would imagine you could order dvd from LHN or ESPN.

I personally haven't used it, but if someone has streaming ESPN, there's a ripper (kind of like a YouTube downloader) that can save copy-protected files as .mp4's, which you can easily turn into a DVD using software like DVDStyler.

ESPN/ABC/Disney doesn't offer DVD's of sports programs any longer.

I'm thinking the easiest workaround for something like this would be Wondershare Uniconverter or DemoCreator. You can have the stream up on your computer and have the software "box" in on your screen where you want it to record a file, like picture-in-picture. Since the original is in HD and DVDs are only SD, you wouldn't have to make it a high-quality recording. Once the file is recorded, use DVDStyler to make a DVD of it.

Horns11, I Appreciate your response, but when I read that, all I hear is Charlie Brown’s teacher.
