Looking for HR position - DFW area

I am getting my Masters in Organizational Communication in December and I am looking for some contacts in any HR department in the DFW area. It seems like every time I apply somewhere you need an "in" to even get an interview.

I have a lot of experience in training and development, if that helps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
