I am considering a career change in the near future and would be interested in hearing some good small business ideas. Thank you!

One of my oputsourcing clients, Oreck, offers a good deal on franchises to sell their vacums. Apparently, most of the stores do pretty well. Only smaller markets are left, though.

I probably shouldn't be sharing this, but since you are my hornfans buddy I will let you in on a little deal that could just make you stinking rich.

The first and only mobile colon cleansing service.

Now, before you say "******** Stan, there are already people who you can pay to come to your house and suck all that crap out of your colon", think again. None of those people can offer the speed and convenience of a true truck-mounted mobile colon cleansing service and yet they still charge a shitload for the service.

Here's the deal. I am negotiating to purchase a mobile carpet cleaning rig from a guy that went out of business and will then convert it with some surgical tubing and new signage into the worlds first mobile colon cleansing rig. For that "value added" effect I'm going to leave the chemical fragrance tanks hooked up to the colon pump so you can have your *** smelling like Pina Colada, Summer Bouquet, Cherry Vanilla or even New Car if you so desire. I'm thinking about naming it the "Colon Cruiser" or maybe the "Enema-Mobile".

Once the Colon Cruiser is ready to roll, then I hire somebody that knows alot about ******** and such stuff to operate the rig. I'm thinking an Aggie Vet school dropout would be perfect. Then I'm going to have some yard signs made up, so that while he is parked in a driveway doing a job we can advertise to the neighbors just like the home improvement contractors do.

With the increasing popularity of anal sex and the convenience services industry as a whole, mobile colon cleansing is virtually an untapped market that could explode excrementally and lead to a very healthy bottom line. So, are you in?

I hate the off-season.

my main business over the past year aircraft parts. I'm thinking of spinning off a small division to address a sector that is wide open.

hire 3 guys to detail and do small maintenance (apply anti-fog coating on the windshields, condition icing boots, etc.) on private jets. there are similar ones based in the bigger regional airports, but none at the tiny ones that dot the city.

hornimal...
I had a buddy that used to clean planes down at the Beechcraft terminal at Hobby... good $$ doing that... dumbass got popped by the IRS though because as a HS senior he made $30k and tried to claim all sort of crap on his taxes...

there is certainly a market for that, but breaking the old boys of their habits might be a little hard...

Would you consider resteraunting? When I went to a place in SF that had a ridiculously simple menu with low variety of ingredients / inventory. It's in a niche market that I guarantee will do well in Austin. I am looking for people who are interested in operating it.

there is very good money to be made doing that, that is why I'm considering putting a crew to work. I have the connections and I can buy the cleaners at cost. I need to research it a bit further. I imagine I need to have similar insurance and bonding as a landscaper. having guys dancing around on a wing would be akin to having someone up high trimming some branches.

the big airports are all taken. I want to corner the smaller ones.

ladders dude.... the smaller airports around Houston aren't going to have larger sized private jets.. most are little planes right??
we used to clean a King Air and a Hawker 700 with a tall ******* ladder....

I just started working as a travel agent. It's great money to start and you can build it into a major job. Plus there is a ton of discounts and rates that travel agents get when traveling. The website isThe Link

I know two travel agents that had to close their doors because internet sales had essentially shut them down, especially on airline tickets.
