I have read the posts discussing next year's squad, and recruits we are still awaiting final word on, and I can't help but think about how the program might look several seasons down the line. Depending on several factors (including unexpected injuries and the unresolved recruit picture), this team might be very good the next year or two, but I am also thinking about 2011. Let's assume the best possible result and Bone and Hill both commit to the Horns. We already have Peoples on board for 2011, who I fully expect to be an immediate impact player and the top recruit in the class. The squad would include Gayle, Fontenette and Anderson as seniors; Bone, Reed and Hill as Juniors; Sophs undetermined, and Peoples as a freshman. IMO the potential of this lineup is unlimited. Of course I don't think we necessarily have to sign both Bone and Hill to have a good team or even win a championship, but it sure would be great to have them!
