Check out the polls below for 2005. Harris voted the NC to USC. They already claim the Aggies' MNC in 1939. They will probably eventually forget 41 - 38 and claim the one in 2005.

and they don't claim the aggie's championship. They claim their own. It's called a split championship....or several other names, but they aren't claiming someone else's. You have to remember that the Texas 2005 championship is one of the very few consensus, unanimous, single-team championships in the non-princeton/yale era of college football
