Congratulations to all the women for their academic achievements.

[Seattle, you're a piece of work. You can't even hold back your sarcasm when congratulating the women for their work in the classroom. What a sad, sad person you must be.]

I reject your sarcasm point, UTExinPDX. Your million dollar coach does not get a free pass from objective criticisms on FACTS.

Stat, please feel free to scroll past my posts. I am not forcing you to read mine.

Seattle, the initial post was about the academic success of the players. Nothing was written about the coach--we all know where you stand on that issue. You could have made a classy post by stopping with your first sentence congratulating the girls on their success in the classroom. But, you had to get the jabs in about Coach G by listing "other season notes of interest".

Look, whatever apathy the sunshine pumpers have on this board for Coach G is really mind boggling. I viewed the original post as a summarization of the accomplishments of each individual and 2010-11 team.

What I will not tolerate are personal attacks on me or anyone, for that matter. You can squish, debate, tear apart, mutilate, body slam, head butt, and annihilate my thoughts and ideas, but what I will not be a victim of character assasssinations and innuendos.

If more people gave a damn about the direction of this program, we would not see the Peyton Little's decommit and all this obnoxious and silly "pretend everything is alright" with Coach G et al. I am very sure I am not the only one who thinks the person who is currently the Coach is the "one" for Texas.

This part of the board should be maroon. You guys pile on the people who bring FACTS to this board just like I see on Aggie boards. Seattle is exactly the tonic we need. WBB is the premier Texas women's sport like Mack's football (apologies Coach Elliot). Plonsky should be relentless in getting us up to the Texas Standard. I can not tell you how much I miss Donna Lopiano.

But let's all blame Seattle, instead.

OK Seattle and Lake Erie = why don't you start your own board???? Why do you have to post here. Clearly our agendas are not the same as yours and you just piss people off - which of course is probably your #1 agenda, moreso than supporting or non-supporting the Longhorns. But why? It is a mystery. Go find your own board to post your nonsense.

Sticks and stones Black Ninja.

Your agenda, Rexy, is keeping Coach G for whatever reason, who is overpaid, overrated and over her head. There has not been even one legitimate breakthru since her infestation at Texas. I bet of Conradt can take the baton back, she would do it in a heartbeat. The program continues to flounder, sinking to levels never thought of for the flagship
women's program. Your agenda likes mediocrity and mow irrelevance.

I have not seen any actions or statements this far, officially, to indicate any improvement to the status quo. Instead we just continue to act as if there is nothing that can be done to bring Texas back to relevance.

So don't lecture me on going away. It is YOU and your kind that need an attitude adjustment. Your pisses because you know that I am right.

And to get back to your question, Black Ninja, the title of the post is "Longhorn Honors and Achievements." The results of the 2011-11 season are appropriate for this thread.

Furthermore, the latest twitter of TexasCoachG is: "Take a look at the honors and accomplishments of our 2010-11 Texas Longhorns!

Rexy, this is all really fun. Really being serious now. The

It is what makes talk radio fun! So you keep posting. I'll keep posting. Seattle keeps posting...

Seattle - As I have previously stated, your posts bring all facts to this board. Don't stop.

However, I do not think your initial post was appropriate for this thread which commended academic achievements. If the article or someone's post had lauded GG I may feel different. Hope you understand.

We also need to give a "shout out" to the Academic Advisory Staff.

Every time I don’t come here for a few days I come back only to find that Seattle is acting the fool again. I guess I am too because I continue to be surprised.

This is a free board and if people want to bash the program, the team, or the coaches it is not my place to try and stop that. Even when I disagree completely there is value in hearing other opinions.

But, this was the most classless attack I have seen. You can try to spin it any way you want. This was clearly a thread to acknowledge academic achievements by student athletes. Anyone who truly cared about the program would recognize and respect that message. A really classless “look at me” moment for you there Seattle. Congratulations to you.

…to you, who will not tolerate personal attacks……seriously? I thought you were all about the facts. No one on this board is guilty of more personal attacks than you. It seems like moron and idiot comprise about 50% of your vocabulary. No one on this board is less willing to accept that others have a right to their own opinion. This is not about people refusing to listen to you, it is about you trying to body slam and head-butt your opinions onto everyone else. If the all people you attack personally because they disagree with you left this board it would be a sad and lonely place for you.

And, I am getting really tired of all this talk about facts….I mean “FACTS!” Good grief. Anyone can regurgitate facts. What takes some brains is figuring out what they mean….and don’t even go to the nonsense about the record says it all. That’s a lazy response for people who don’t want to take the time to think things through on their own. Nothing is ever that simple.

Maybe I have been right when I thought all you really wanted was attention and to play games by stirring people up. If so, I wish you would do a better job. You’re just being silly, and disrespectful to a hard working group of young student athletes. Everyone here has acknowledged there have been issues that need to be addressed. You have material to work with. Maybe that is just over your head, but I’ll keep hoping.

Hard working student athletes? Yes, in the classroom. On the basketball floor, I beg to differ.

Just like i told Statalyzer, feel free to scroll down my posts, Outlookdude. I don't need you to validate my existence or my right to contribute to the discussions on this board.

I want this program to succeed. With A&M winning the Championship, there is no way in heck Texas is going to compete for Big XII championships in the remaining years of her contract. Year after year, we start with *HIGH* expectations, only to see them crash because of excuses like "Cokie was injured", or "We have no depth", or "Our athletes are just not athletic enough".

It is apparently obvious some are in denial; can't see the forest from the trees. If Coach G does "well" in Year 5, congrats to her, but if she produces another underwhelming year, this goes to show that it is time to consider a change to the direction of the program. You and your kind want floundering; I want a program that is RISING.

All the apathy and general laziness of some of the readers on this board is all attributable to the success that Conradt built over her legendary 30+ career.

Sticks and stones Outlookdude.

I ignored your character assassinations; you don't know me and I am a proud Longhorn who has made great accomplishments.

Unlike you, I know how to scroll. Perhaps a web tutorial on how to use a mouse would help you.

btw, if you happened to read this outlook, you show me where I have critiqued an individual player on their performance. The only statement that you manipulated its meaning is where I "beg to differ" on the players on the court. I reject your assertions until you can show me the proof!
