Plays Washington in the first round of the Houston Regional. Cougar High is 50-9 (including 5-1 and 6-0 wins over Texas in March) and earned the #8 national seed. SFA is the other team in the regional.

If swimming and golf are indications, Clark has been coaching for her job the entire season. Jody had one NC and Bev has several NCs which allow serious slack. Clark has no such slack. When Cougar High kicks UT's *** in any sport, the coach feels serious pressure.

Cat has lots of Pro and international commitments right now. They take a lot of time away from the College team. Because she throws from the left side, it is more complicated for her to teach those who throw from the right....which is all of the current UT hurling staff. While she is an outstanding pitcher, she is relatively unproven as a pitching coach. Time will tell.

Meanwhile, her fans in Texas wish her well in the olympics!!
