Longhorn Night at the RR Express -> Sat., Aug. 8

The Round Rock Express, the Austin Chapter of the Texas Exes and the Young Alumni Group of the Texas Exes invite you to the 3rd Annual Longhorn Night at the Dell Diamond!

This year’s Longhorn Night at the Dell Diamond will be Saturday, August 8. Come join your fellow Longhorns and special invited guests former UT baseball stars Spike Owen, Kirk Dressendorfer, Burt Hooton and Brooks Kieschnick for a night of baseball, food, drink and fun at the Dell Diamond.

The $22 ticket price includes admission, box seats, the All-American buffet, soft drinks and complimentary beer in the United Heritage Center.

This event is for all Longhorn fans. You do not need to be a Texas Exes member or UT grad to come. It's for all Longhorn fans.

$22 ticket price for all. The RR Express put this together and they want it to be a LONGHORN NIGHT and for all Longhorn fans.

By the way, the RR Express players will be wearing special burnt orange & white jerseys for the event. They usually auction off or raffle off these game worn jerseys for those that buy these tickets. I won one 2 years ago in fact.

Did I mention beer and food and admission is all inclusive? This is a great deal. In this economy, find a deal like that....

We need to fill this joint up. This is the 3rd year the Express have done this for Longhorn Night. They have been doing Aggie Night for years longer and they are OUTDRAWING us. Yes, the Aggies are getting more attendance than Longhorn fans.

I talked to the Express guy who is putting this together and he said ticket sales have been slow. Get your tickets! Let's put these Aggies to shame.

FYI. Online ticket sales (link above) have been extended to Friday August 7. If you buy after Monday next week, the tickets will be at will call near the United Heritage Center instead of mailed out.

Just an updated. I talked to the Express guys and the Aggies have over 300 tickets purchased for their Aggie Night at the Express. For the Longhorn night, we have 150-200.

Event is this Saturday. You don't need to be a Texas Exes member. $22 ticket price is what affordable and that includes beer.

BTW, TheFied, the O&W night last Saturday was awesome. Thanks to all with the Austin Chapter who planned and hosted the event. We helped clean out the silent auction. I got a bunch of stuff, including a huge chip and dip bowl that I'm itching to use on Sept 5.
