Longhorn Band Pre-Game

I know this was discussed a couple of weeks ago, but I am taking my 4 year old son to his first game next weekend against Arkansas (2:30 kickoff) and I was hoping to take him to see the band warm up a few hours before the game. I believe the band practices in the bubble several hours before kickoff, and then rehearses again in the Band Hall an hour or so before kick. Can anyone in the know shed some light on the pre-game schedule for Arkansas? Thanks in advance.

We usually start at the bubble about 5 hours before kickoff, so about 9:30. That could change however, maybe a little earlier, maybe a little later. Expect more details as we get close to game day for arky.

I didn't realize that LHB gets to rehearse in the bubble now. I guess that must be nice when it rains. Of course, I got to rehearse in Memorial Stadium so I think I got the better deal.

Hey Speed,

I'm with ya man. I was there from 79 - 83....back when the stadium was never locked. Practiced under the lights at night.
There would be joggers running around the track while we practiced..and families brought their kids to play on the track. It was cool

It was cool watching the joggers or occasionally even random students would come in and watch us practice. Oh, the good old days...
