Longevity and Sunshine Pumping

Well darn. Being an optimist, I guess I'll die sooner than if I were a pessimist, but . . . now that I think about it, life after death will probably end up being a lot of fun.

I look to the positive of this in that my life will be filled with more happiness even though shorter. The worriers will have longer to be miserable and live longer in that misery and bitchery.

I am happy to have read this thread and pump it's happiness to others!!!

1. I only worry about things I can control
2. The glass is always half full
3. I do ride too fast on a CBR1000RR. It will do 95 mph in the first of six gears.

I was born in TX and lived in state for about 52 years - various cities. I lived out of state about 7 years... for brief times in VA, OH, IN and NJ (yuck)... I have traveled to all but 4 US states for biz and or pleasure with some Intl. travel over the years. Honestly there is nowhere else I would rather live than Texas... other than in the arms and bosom of Miss Katherine Webb

Let's be clear. There's a difference between optimist and sunshine pumper.

For example, I am optimistic the struggling Longhorn sports programs can turn around with a different approach. However a sunshine pumper would say things will be great if we just give the current methods another chance.

See how that works?
