saw it today with the "now open" sign, it's on lamar and 38th or so, anyone been there yet?

I'm still waiting for "The Big Kolache" to open at Congress and Oltorf.

I'll have to check Lone Star out when I'm in that area, though.

awesome...I'm moving from congress and oltorf and was pissed I'd miss the opening of that place. Coincidentally, i'm moving to 38th and Lamar, so it works out perfectly....even steven.

if you haven't been to the kolache shop on burnet next to dallas night club, you're missing out. i go through 2 dozen of the sausage kolaches a week.

is that the one next to thundercloud on burnet and anderson? i like that place, i think it's called the donut shop or somethin

it;s a little south of burnet and anderson i think, and it's actually called "the kolache shop". it's sadly in the same shopping center as dallas nightclub.

None of the kolaches I have had in Austin come close to measuring up to the ones from the Czech Stop in West, though!!!! I had some yesterday on my way to Dallas, and for sure will pick up a dozen or so on my trip home!
