Logging out

I have what I'm sure is a very stupid question. Don't know where to post it, so I'll throw it on here and mods can move it to a more appropriate place, if needed.

OK, when I'm done on the HornFan message boards, I'll log out. But when I click back on any board, I'm automatically logged back in whether I want to be or not. It's a bit worrisome because it happens on any computer I use, including at work.

I don't remember it always being that way. What am I missing here, and just how stupid am I?

I had the same problem. If I hit log out, it goes to the login screen asking for username and password, but it doesn't log you out.

Same problem here exept that it is only at home on 1 computer but not on my laptop. Weird.

I can only post with my computer at home and not at work, even if I log off at home I still can't post at work.

Hmmmm. Wasn't automatically logged in when I checked the boards this morning. What happened? Was it something I said?

UPDATE: After logging in to post this update, now I'm back in permanent logged-in mode. I give up. Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi.
