it was better when it was across the street and it was called Lakeview Cafe. Lodge at Lakeview sucked, and so has everything that has followed since.

Yes it was. Use to love to eat there in the early 90's.

It was great. The Gatewoods who owned that haven't had a whole lot of luck with restaurants. They also owned Pinatas and Shields out on Bee Caves which are no longer with us. I'm pretty sure they didn't own Jakes, but they do own the new place in the Lodge at Lakeview site.
