Local Phone Carrier

Does anyone have local phone service with anyone other than SBC or MCI ? If so, who and how is it ?

I use to work for MCI, never ever get suckered into buying their service.

I use Verizon and have two DSL lines coming to the house and I have no problems with either. Service is great for both voice and data.
