Don't like moral victories, but last season had a lot of positives. Here's to an even better run in 09/10!

I haven't followed all that closely, so any insight to these and/or more is definitely welcome.

I would hate to lose either of those midfielders. Big fan of both.

What about the rumors from the past, i.e. Silva, Eto'o?

This Red is ready to see Rafa work some magic this offseason. YNWA!
 
Alonso and Mascherano are staying this season. I do not see them transferring to other teams. Arbeloa might with the signing of Johnson.
 
Xabi is probably going to stay, if Barca bids up to £40m for Masch I don't see how he stays. £20m and Bojan isn't worth it. I'm not sure if it would be worth it to have Eto'o in there either.

The strange thing is Barca have Busquets and Yaya Toure who are both better on the ball and fit their system better.

The Glen Johnson transfer looked to be settled but some lingering questions remain. I hope they keep Arbeloa either way. Arbeloa was good for most of the first half of the season but wore out towards the end with no suitable backup. I don't understand why he would want to go to Real and sit behind Sergio Ramos. Ramos moving in to a centerback role is a mistake with his crossing ability.
 
All I have to say is the Yossi should start from the next match through the Champions League final.

Babel might have sealed his fate today as part of a deal for the next transfer in.
 
Hopefully Liverpool can get into a groove and make it up into the top 4 this year... otherwise it's going to be ugly in the off-season.

Man City is for real. But we have yet to see if Tottenham is. (Nice go from Defoe though.)
 
Awesome game today. Babel seems to win almost every challenge he comes up against. His legs are long and so, so strong (sorry, went all Love and Rockets on you guys for a moment). Torres threw his hand up as Babel moved the ball down the right side of the box and NAILED the header between two defenders. I am sure y'all have seen the game or highlights but it was awesome.

I love watching Babel go for challenges though. West Ham is salty.

It'll be a dogfight to the end for 4th. Maybe for 3rd also if LFC knock off Arsenal Weds and the Arse continue to struggle.
 
What is that movie that has Frodo from Lord of the Rings where he quits Harvard to become a football thug for Manchester United? It is pretty chessy but not too bad of a movie.
 
From a fans perspective, what does Liverpool need to do this offseason to get back into Champion's League next season??
 
i was just glad to see everton get a late goal to win the last game of the season. i hope moyes stays and the rumor with himn and man u is just that, a rumor.
 
bye bye Rafa. Too bad. With Tom & George still owning the team I'm not sure who would actually want to be head coach with the mess that is going on right now.
