Live 30 Rock

Was good. I wasn't sure what to expect, and it sort of turned into a cross between SNL and a normal 30 Rock episode. Except you can see what SNL is missing with Tina Fey no longer working there.

It would have been a good episode even if it wasn't live, and that says something. The Matt Damon lines were some of the best parts of the show.

I agree, although I didn't get to watch it live. I was on while I was teaching aerobics. I thought it was very funny, and the appearance of Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Liz Lemon was really clever.

it was pretty good. When it first came on, i was like "oh no" and either the first skit was either shaky or i was getting adjusted to it, but about 1/3 of the way through it hit it's stride and suprisingly the whole thing had a manic energy which i enjoyed.

The live audience seemed to enjoy it. I don't think there was any canned applause in there.

The Chris Parnell character as the doctor never fails to crack me up.
