Little Woodrows on the drag

Little Woodrows website says they will soon be opening a location on the drag. Does anyone know where on the drag they plan to open?

this could be great. i was always a fan of showdown, but thought the location could have supported a more bustling establishment -- plus west campus suprisingly bare of drinking spots, getting better

I was hoping the Co-op would get into the bar business and open up a bar on the drag. They seem to be involved in 2/3 of the businesses along the drag.

maybe they should wait for a diesel jeans store to scoop up the lease? granted it's not showdown, but what's wrong with a woodrow's? showdown started on a slippery downslope after they took turbodog off the cheap pitcher list and ditched the best jukebox in town for one of those **** touchscreen ones.

I heard a rumor that Lil Woodrows was moving into Texas Showdown's old location -- not sure if that is 100% true though.

Cuatro's is terrible and, last time I went, it closed at 11. Abel's is adding something like 50 beers on tap, so it should be just fine.

Milkman, what I meant is I have no idea if this is true. And I had a feeling that some assumed it was.

**** man, I have no clue. :)

I will say that I haven't been to Texas Showdown since like 1998. Then again I can't remember the last time I drank a beer in West Campus.......

I bet it does end up in the Showdown space. I walked by there the other day and contrary to my previous post, it does have a nice little porch area in the back. It seems like a good fit.

Went to Drungo's (29th and Rio Grande) Sunday and it was good, nice beer selection and they have parking.

Cuatro's is fine, stopped by later that day.

I like west campus periodically and it's close enough for me to taxi/bus from downtown.

Woodrow's is great, gotta love the beer selection and those that serve them.
