Did anyone else notice what Mack Brown said?

I think it was on the radio, but maybe on TV. Wish I had written it down.
Something to the effect that Texas did good against Oklahoma, but now was facing a defense with good players and good coaching.
I know he generally speaks well about the teams that are coming up, but was that a shot at Stoops and the Sooners?

Hadn't heard that. Out of character for Mack, if he indeed said it.

He said it. I heard it. I don't think that he even considered that in saying that he was kind of downgrading a team that Texas had played.

I remember Stoops bragging about recruits (linebackers I think) where he basically was saying that the group he got the year before wasn't very good. But that was Stoops. Brown seems to be generally more diplomatic than Stoops.

I think if I didn't have so much to do, I would try to find Mack's statement after a Cotton Bowl win, when he said that Texas had came up **** at the first of the year, he went ahead and kept talking and as he was talking, it was interesting to watch his face, finally he said I meant to say short. The woman interviewing him said that she knew what he meant.
