Little bitty flies in the house

So, lately the GF's house has been infested by what she calls fruit-flies. I don't know if that's the right term, but I think it is. Basically, they're little bitty gnats that have wings and come in swarms. We don't leave food out, we've tried hard to eradicate open sources of breeding grounds, like trash. However, over the past two weeks or so, these flies have continued to exist. Given that we kill about a million and a half of these things a night, they MUST be breeding soomewhere.

and potted plants. Shake the plant and watch them ooze out and then tell your wife she's a lousy housekeeper. Maybe you will have better luck than I did. Notice that I'm not in bed at this hour.

Potted plants and garbage disposals.

Move plants outside.....flush disposal with some bleach, run with hot water.

Yep, scoured the kitchen sink/food trap today to rid myself of these little beasts. Somehow they still pass through my screens when I have the windows open.

would a raid bomb work?? did wonders for the cocky roaches.

if they are the gnats that come in through the sinks (garbage disposal) you will need to get some special cleaner at Home Depot

however, if they are something else they might be green beetles. I've had an infestation of these recently. You have to find the source, usually some type of grain product such as flour and throw it out and then the bugs will die off in a day or two.

i had the same prob for awhile. it was pretty bad at first but i started to watch what was left out and whatnot and they have seemed to go away for the most part

If you crush up a little Viagra and leave it on the counter, those inch worms will literally explode.
