This has had to come up before but it's been a while, what is the best liquor store/chain in Austin? I'm talkin' about selection and price here. I'm satisfied with Twin, Reuben's and Grapevine Mkt, but is there anyplace better?
Any help, recommendations or comments would be greatly appreciated, with only ~25 days left till binge season (i.e. CFB season), I need all the help I can get.

P & N Liquor on Lamar between 30th & 35th. Go there once and the guy will remember you and give you a discount.

I can verify that Costco action. They rock. No membership needed.

Examples:

1.75 of Sauza Silver - 29.99, 36-37 anywhere else
.75 of Cointreau - 27.99, 32-33 anywhere else

Don't remember the exact prices on everything else, but they averaged 20-25% less than any other liquor store in town.

Beer and wine prices were just average though.

Costco is cheap but I like Grapevine Market best. Take the store ads from the sports section and Garpevine Market will match them just like a coupon. Best price and saves the drive.

I am going to get so rich when I bring the Liquor Mart (happiest place on earth) concept to Austin and add a drivethru.

Tom's Liquor #2 on Riverside is where I buy my booze. It is

reasonably priced, and the guy working there is extremely

helpful. When I walk in there, I feel like Norm on "Cheers"

because he knows me by name!
