Linksys NAS200 Network Storage box

I was thinking of getting an Linksys NAS200. I am going to install two 500 gig HD's in a RAID. Does anyone have experience with this unit or similar?

I need a simple network storage solution for work. I need it to be simple and securely accessible from the internet.

I would check into the Infrant ReadyNAS line before deciding. The Infrant NAS boxes are pretty robust although a bit steeper in price than the NAS200.

If you don't mind doing some reading and tinkering and only plan to have one or two systems access the shares at the same time, the other alternative is take an old computer, install linux/FreeBSD/FreeNAS and then set up software RAID.
