great job by the steelers today.

Oh, HELL Yes!

I have my Thigpen jersey on now and am going to poke country to play poker and have SWEED taped to the back.

Oh, HELL yes. A+++++ draft by the Black and the Gold today!

great fit for limas, Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes will take the pressure off Limas...he could flourish under Hines' tutelage....with Mendenhall and Willie Parker all of a sudden the Steelers have great balance on the O...

I concur completely. Good for Limas and good for the Steelers. But you wouldn't know it from listening to the sooners. They think Limas will be a "huge bust' and that the Steelers "wasted" a pick.

Man, I realize that most zero-uers hate anything and everything Longhorns, but how can they not think that Pittsburgh got the steal of the draft and had a huge first day? Talk about drinking the Kool-Aid!

Hook'em!

i waived my terrible towel when i heard that. Great for both Limus and the STEEL city. Pitt has one of the, if not the best skill players in the NFL.
Big Ben, Hines, Santonio, Limus, 2 Big good TEs, Fast Willie and Mendenhall.

There's no way Dallas was thinking they'd get Sweed with their 2nd round pick, that would mean they just plain weren't thinking coherantly about the draft...oh, wait....

I really wanted Limas to go to the Titans but I am so glad he gets to go to a team like Pittsburgh! Congrats Limas!

2005 Texas-Ohio State was one of the best regular season games in recent memory, and the Steelers now have both teams' star WR from that game.

didn't see this posted. But both Hines Ward and Limas were coached by a mutual coach. Having that in common will help the two mesh too. I don't think there was a better place for him to land. I can't wait to see him play!

Before the draft, SI reported that Roethlisberger had asked for a tall leaping WR and was told by the GM that they have to consider team needs above his personal wants. Roethlisberger got what he wanted.

Here's betting that Big Ben will be appreciative of Limas and give him ample opportunity to prove himself.
