Oh well, more money for my trip to Omaha ...

A daytime game on Wednesday for the #1 seed? What a bunch of crap we should only have evening slots.

Oh well I guess I can listen at work.

Actually, that is a reward.

We get an early time slot, a set start time (no waiting for an extra inning game to finish), we don't have to play in the heat of the day, and if the schedule goes late (which it ALWAYS does) we don't end up playing at minight or beyond.

I agree with OB. You dont want the late game on Wednesday or Saturday. With both OU & OSU in the field they seemed to get those times for crowd purposes. If OSU isnt in this year that could change some things or OU would be getting that spot, which would be fine unless we play them and have to have the late game.

It's going to be a weird tournament without Oklahoma State. There will be a lot of empty seats...

I suspect people will start talking again about moving the tournament after this year.

The Dallas tournments were great, even though the ballpark was only about 1/3 full. If they moved it to Frisco at the Roughriders park it would be even better.

Maybe rotate it each year. Not totally familiar with the surrounding at Frisco and Dell, but in OKC the teams can stay right downtown and basically walk to the fields. Plus the bricktown area has lots of eating places. You wouldnt really need a car at all.

The Frisco Ball Park is located right next to that mall, I forget the name. Dave and Busters, Cheese Cake Factory, Hooters and also down the road you have the Shops at Legacy that includes about 12 Restaurants/ Bars including Mi Cocina, Fox Sports Bar and number of nice hotels. Not to mention that the times the Big XII tournament were in Dallas there were about 50,000 more in attendance at less games then now. There are also more Big XII alumni in DFW then in any other Big XII Metropolitan area.

Dallas also would not be a home field advantage for anybody, at least less of a home field advantage for any one team.

Check out the Frisco Roughriders website, it is a great place to watch a game, I am actually considering season tickets, or at least a mini plan.

I will watch though the fence, as I park cars north of the score board
in the alley. I went to the last game, last year, free tickets from osu fans.
