LHN in Houston bars

another season looms without access to lhn. does anyone have updated information on any sports bars/restaurants in the houston area that will have real access to lhn this season. the one place showing the games last year used a jerryrigged internet connection that sucked.

The only place I know off the top of my head is the place you're referring to(Junction?)....at least I think it is. I've been there for a couple games and something has happened each time.

I can put up with it, since it's close enough for me to ride my bike and at least they're trying.

Game Watching
GAME DAYS @ Little Woodrow's (EaDo) 2019 Walker St | 77003
Join us each week during the Longhorn football season at Little Woodrow's (Eado), the official Texas Exes Houston Chapter game watching venue.

Little Woodrow’s (Eado) is located at 2019 Walker Street (77003). There will be plenty of drink and food specials, parking and tons of burnt orange fun!

You're welcome

little woodrows - how are you getting the game? do you have an official/real LHN cable connection or is the another internet work around? the viewing at the junction with this kind of connection sucked last year.

Texas Taps - Are we required to be a member of the Houston chapter of the Texas Exes to watch the game at Little Woodrows? I am a member of the Texas Exes, but not the Houston club.

no one ever answered the question as to whether little w's will have a video feed worth watching. also i gather from the lack of any serious reply that there are no sports bars in the houston area with real access to lhn.

I don't know why Texas Taps is playing cat and mouse, but I just called them and the guy said they were showing the game.

I asked if they had the network or if they were using slingbox or what....he bumbled around and didn't really know and just said that he knew they were showing the game.

thanks.

Texas Exes member here....since that seems to matter to you.

So you go to the trouble of calling the bar and asking if they are showing the game and then how are they showing the game, which is important to you but you don't ask them who their satellite or cable provider is? If it is important to you as to how they are getting the game, and the bartender that answers the phone has received 100 calls like yours, do you even think about what is on the other end of the phone or who your audience is? How does the bartender know how they are getting the game? If they are illegally getting it why would he tell you that over the phone? If you did graduate from UT you slipped through the cracks, or maybe you should go back again, or ask for your money back because something failed you! More than likely you barely escaped and graduated with a degree in Art History or something like that...............

^^^ No kidding, and never mind even trying to get in touch with the head of the Houston Texas Exes. It's not like they're UT grads or even organized the game watching party

Hey I got the 39 year old bartender from Lil Woodrow's on the phone, sounds like he has been drinking more than pouring but let's ask him the tough questions or maybe Lil Woodrow's has a customer service help desk that will provide the necessary details on how the bar is actually getting the game, copper cable, airwaves or fiber optics?

IT IS ALMOST GAME DAY, WEARING MY HELMET IN THE OFFICE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!
