LHN: ATT uVerse or Grande

I think I have both available in my central Austin neighborhood, and would appreciate any thoughts about which is a better choice. My current Time Warner feed works fine, but it's missing the LHN option, and is really expensive. I am ready to switch to something else...

If cost is your main barameter, I would say Charter is less expensive.

Check internet speeds. My only regret in leaving TWC for U-verse has been the lack of internet speed (and I pay for the fastest). It is a technical issue, but AT&T doesn't measure up to the faster cable speeds.

I have been very pleased with my switch from Time Warner to Grande. Less expensive for now, but they do the typical deal where the rates go up annually. In a few years I will be paying near what I was formerly for Time Warner.

After 12 yrs with TWC and no problems until the last 4 months I changed to ATT Uverse and am very pleased with the results. Cheaper and LHN.
Grande not available in my area.

Live in Memphis, have Uverse, very pleased with it.

I has RR turbo with Time Warner, and have faster interent speeds now after switching to U Verse.

Depends on your area of town... I have had both TW and am now with Uverse. Internet on TW was awesome at my old house but at my new house sucks. Uvesrse blows it out of the water. I dig the wireless uverse receivers also but hey its your dollar. If the main reason for your switch is the LHN then its really your call. At the moment Uverse does not have an online streaming option but I am sure they will get it done in the not so distant future. You are pretty much set to go on Grande.

Thanks for all the great feedback. Wish I could install both UVerse and Grande for a month and try them both out. Sometimes the specific feed to your house determines the throughput performance, I realize.
