VS didn't show any of this did they? I was wondering if Levi was trying to be the consummate team mate or to try to win out against his own team mate. Good to see Astana whippin' *** in spite of the TdF officials not allowing them to race in their race.

Let's say that Astana has some challenging team dynamics right now. Contador will be riding elsewhere next season.

That is very interesting. Contador is arguably the best rider out there. I think it would be in Astana's best interest to keep him.

Is the attention Armstrong brings that much more important?

Count me as one of the biggest LA supporters out there having ridden every Ride for the Roses since 1997 and enjoying seeing him succeed. Having said that, I think it's a crop o' crap that Contador gets bumped so that LA can attempt one more year of TdF glory. This teams future rests on Contador's shoulders and he has shown he can consistently win the big rides.

I didn't realize there was such abrasion between Contador and Levi. That may have as much to do with him wanting out if LA joins.

Always liked Levi. He strikes me as pretty humble.

Screw Contador. Lance coming back to cycling is the biggest thing that could happen to the sport. The attention that will be lavished on cycling and the money that will roll in, whether Lance wins or not, is a net plus.
