The riff in "Time Loves a Hero" is one of the best I've ever heard.

What other great guitar riffs or licks do you like? Try to focus on the more non-obvious ones. We all know about Skydog and Eric in Layla, so we can get that out of the way.

I've also always been partial to the intro in Intro/Sweet Jane with Wagner and Hunter.

SRV's take on "Little Wing" in its entirety is pretty damn awesome.

Actually, I think we can generally agree SRV did a lot of good stuff.

Easily one of my favorites is Don Felder's solo about halfway through The Eagles "One Of These Nights".

Also Lindsey Buckingham in the last minute or so of "Go Your Own Way" and the dual acoustic and electric guitar licks in the opening moments of "Crazy On You" by Heart. They were simple chords, but they were the beginning of what Heart was about to become known for. I know Nancy Wilson was doing the acoustic and can only assume it was Roger Fisher on the electric. Those two made a pretty good pair.
