I skimmed a few of those. Interesting reading and interesting how many fairly active posters have left the site.

Everyone was so gung ho and happy at the time and, I suppose, rightfilly so. As I have mentioned, I voted for BO 4 years ago.

We can quip about a lot of issues then and now but the defining point that I get from reading some of these old posts is how everyone thought BO would be such a good leader and so good for our country. His failure as a leader is his greatest weakness and why he should not get re-elected. Our politics are more divisive today than they were 4 years ago. Lots of people warned that he was not a man interested in working with others and the truth has been painful.

He said he would be different and the people ate it up. We wanted diferent but he was actually worse than the others.
