Is there any chance that the following from the AAS ....

Gail Goestenkors will return to coach the University of Texas women’s basketball team next fall, a UT official has confirmed.
“Of course, she’ll be back,” Texas women’s athletics director Chris Plonsky said. “I have great faith in her. She’s a great coach.”

... Is just that endorsement that ADs give before they fire a coach? It is that time where we watch the NCAAs and try to spot the coach we really want.

This again shows where you're uneducated. Because if you actually took the time to read and compare Texas' resume compared to the other teams vying for an at large bid you would know that they clearly deserve to be included. Have they met our personal institutionsl goals? NO, but they have certainly done enough to set themselves apart from the other bubble teams.

Not my team Texas is less goestenkors. No my prayers are answered if Texas gets a gift. Then we will see another first round egg laid.

Texas is 55th in the rpi and 6-8 vs top 50 opponents with an SOS ranked 18th. This is definitely a bubble team, but I would hardly say they are in. I think 8-11 in conf play may be the breaking point even though thy do have a couple of decent ooc wins.
 
Why would I be jealous? I'm a Texas Ex too. There's no fan that would talk the way you do about a team like the way you do if you were REALLY a fan.
 
And guess what? Texas beat your ags twice this season. Good thing they're going to the SEC because Gail has Blair's number now.
 
I'm sorry you feel that way. And I have the right to express how I feel about our University getting ripped off by a "coach" who doesn't know how to get the job done.

Who's praying? Aren't all fans hoping their team gets an invite? Aside from the automatic invites, there are dozens of teams in the running for at-large spots in the NCAA field. And there are always fewer spots than there are teams in the mix, so of course fans specualte, and hope for the best. The only one who seems to be praying is you, and instead of an invitation, you want just the opposite. What fan prays for their team to get left out? The truth is you will be here cheering if we don't make the field. I'm sorry, but no true fan does that.
 
Overseas come on now. I'd be chanting and casting bad luck if I didn't want Texas invited. Is it wrong to pray for Texas? I bet we get in because we are Texas and no way will they hurt goestenkors with a snub. We'll be celebrating tomorrow night!!!!
