Okay here is the deal for all you attorneys out there. My nephew did some things he shouldnt have so he got arrested. He made bond on the charges in Feb well he was notified that the detective working his case was going to file another case on him and arrest him. he gave him the chance to do a walk through but would not let him do it at convenience of his bondsman so he just waited and they came and arrested him. He made bond again but the bond he made was for the same charge he was already bonded on He has papers showing that he bonded on this charge same cause number and everything on Feb 18, 2005 then made bond on April 6, 2005 and they have it down as the same cause. Now the charge that the detective was supposedly filling on him no longer exsists. We have not called the DA yet to see if the case was even filed but the detective did talk to his mother and say that the case had been dropped. Does anyone know the rules or laws concerning being on bond for the same charge twice or arrested for the same charge and having to bond on it twice. He did not get the bond forfeted nor was there a judgement for insuffeciant bond so why or how can they get away with arresting him twice on the same charge.
