The article does not mention the political leanings of the person who altered the receipt.

Here is what was posted in the Huffington Post:


"A banker reportedly left a 1% tip in defiance of 'the 99%' at a Newport Beach restaurant the other week, according to his dining companion and underling who snapped a photo of the receipt and posted it to his blog, Future Ex Banker. (Update: the blog is now offline.)"


That seems to be exactly what happened. A blogger posted something and the Huffington Post ---- which calls itself the newspaper of the internet ----- reported what he said. So I'm not sure what the source of the angst is.

Are we seriously arguing over whether this weasel was a lib?

Face palm, indeed.

Even if this story were true...why the **** was it a story in the first place? There are dickheads in every walk of life and on both sides of the political spectrum. For HuffPo and CNN to run this story as if it proves ANYTHING, that is just as ridiculous as the lying leftist who fabricated the thing in the first place.
