Leffe Belgian Ale

Anyone else a fan? I drank a ton of the Blonde ale when I was in Paris a few months back and it might be my favorite right now. want to find it on tap here in Austin somewhere. Suggestions?

I like Leffe Blonde alright. You can find it bottled in many places including Specs and some HEBs. I've never looked for it draught anywhere in Austin, but I'd try the usual suspects like Gingerman and Flying Saucer.

But the Leffe brewery makes another beer, Leffe Brun, which is my favorite beer on the planet. I drank a ton of it when I was living and working in Belgium. It used to be available in bottles here in Austin, but I haven't seen it in years. I found it in Nice the last time I visited France and I was in Heaven, drank it like water!

Leffe is a very nice beer. Other good Belgians are any St. Benardus (the Pater 6 is a brun), Maredesous, Kamaleit Triple, and Brugge de Zot. I have seen several of these on tap from time to time. Believe it or not Whip In has had some of these on tap. I found Leffe on tap outside of Austin recently.

I like the Leffe but prefer Chimay. I'm not sure if they have it on draft, but have you tried the Flying Saucer?
