Lebron will make announcement on TV

I am so sick of this story. Just make a decision and sign a goddam contract.

I listen to ESPN radio every morning on my drive to work and around town and it's all they want to talk about, besides the World Cup. And I have no interest in either!
 
I think that's a strong indication he will stay in Cleveland. He would be included among the most despised men in basketball if he announced he was ditching his hometown team on a one-hour ESPN special.
 
Is there any reason for him to stay in Cleveland? Unless Cleveland can land someone like Carlos Boozer, or Nowitski, there's not a lot of solid front court FA's that could help him win titles and market himself. James wants to be able to market himself better
 
I'm sure Boozer will get a warm welcome in Cleveland, something akin to treatment of witches in Denmark under Christian IV.

Why would he play in Cleveland with teammates that were banging his mom? If he was staying in Cleveland he would have announced that at his camp in Akron, and wouldn't be announcing it in Connecticut.

If it was me I would go to NJ with Devin Harris and Brook Lopez, and ask them to sign David Lee. They are moving to Brooklyn in a couple of years and he could be looked at as the savior of that franchise. He could make them bigger than the Knicks in NY. That's creating a legacy.
 
Wow. If he goes to the Heat leaving $ on the table he is really showing how desperate he is to chase a championship. I don't remember Kobe or Michael winning titles like that.

Lebron should stay in Cleveland. Celtics in all likelihood are heading downhill. That was the only team in the East that took Cleveland out last year. His team could be ready to go back to the finals again this year and then who knows.
 
and yet everyone calls Kobe a supreme douche.

If Lebron has to win a title by having Wade and Bosh has teamates that immediatley drops him a couple of spaces down in the rankings of all time great players.

On the Scott Van Pelt show today, they were asking people to e-mail in their suggested names for Lebron's "special" tonight. I didn't stay in the car long enough to hear any of the suggestions, but I think it should be called, "Overgrown child looking for attention and desperate to be liked."

I wonder how many people will actually tune in to hear what he has to say?
 
Texanne, EVERYONE will tune if for no other reason they can increase their extreme dislike for the self-centered ego-manical pampered athlete.

God knows he would accept the Heat's offer and "only" make $96 million. (The word was actually used in one published announcement.)

Bear, I agree with Junior Miller. If he goes to the Heat I hope they still call it "Wade's team." Can't believe he actually thinks this will improve his personal value.

I wonder if he's gonna full ghey and have 3 teams caps on the table and pick one to put on like the high school kids do. U dont know which one uphauls me more LSPN or James being this much of a princess.
 
I think it's a cryin shame. He didn't even have the class to notify the Cavs personally until this pathetic made-for-tv sham. I hope the guy never wins a championship. I'll never view the guy the same again after all of this garbage. What an extraordinary display of classlessness.
