Leaving for Chicago in the Morning!!!

Can't wait! I haven't been in over 20 years, and most in my family have never been. On the agenda:

Staying at Chicago Guest House in Wrigleyville

Architecture and Lake Tour

Dinner (Italian) at La Scarola

Two Cubs games - bleacher seats. Maybe they'll actually win a game. Man they suck this year, nothing new there I guess

Dinner at Gino's East

An afternoon at North Avenue Beach if the weather permits

Dinner at Andalous Moroccan

Lincoln Park Zoo with our niece

Hancock Center

Dinner (ribs) at Twin Anchors

Spa afternoon for the ladies

Some live music, not sure where yet. Any suggestions? Must allow 18+ since my son is with us and I'm not ditching him.

Lots of beer, brats, Chicago dogs and Italian Beefs

I prefer Giordano's for pizza. But that's the thing about Chicago. Everybody has their own favorite pizza place.

If weather does not allow for beach time, I'd definitely make a trip over to Museum Campus: Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and Adler Planetarium. A walk through Millennium Park is also a must.

Other than to board the architecture tour boat, you can skip Navy Pier. I second the Field Museum and aquarium, though you'll want to hit them early to avoid long lines.

going to chicago next month. should i take in a saturday day or friday day game at wrigley?

also, any suggestions on staying on meatchicken ave. vs. lakeview?

thanks
