Learning to Live with the New World Order

I caught a few minutes of the entertaining Alex Jones this afternoon on 90.1.

During that 5 minutes, I heard "New World Order" mentioned at least 100 times. I have to give that guy credit. He has built a nice little enterprise catering to the X-Files crowd.

I find it interesting that Hitler was such avid fan of Madame Helena Blavatsky, as were others like Lenin. Hitler reportedly kept a copy of "The Secret Doctrine" on his nightstand.

Enlightening, from the CFR publication "Foreign Affairs"..."The Hard Road to World Order"...

An excerpt...

In short, the "house of world order" will have to be built from
the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like
a great "booming, buzzing confusion," to use William James'
famous description of reality, but an end run around national
sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much
more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.

What are these people afraid of? Like, specifically?

In the mid to late 80s, I had to learn to live with New Order. By appropriate accomodation, and even playing some of their tunes at the right time, it even got me some action.

How hard can it be to deal with one more word?

I was in DC during the summer of 1991 and saw a long black Lincoln Limo with a bumper sticker that said, "New Word Order? Same Old ****".

I had just heard that Thurgood Marshall had announced he was going to retire when I saw it. When ever I think of one, I think of the other.
