Been off a few days and spending time with my (almost) 4 year old, in the evening TV time, we have gotten rid of the new kid shows and I introduced her to the Little Rascals, the Three Stooges, and Laurel and Hardy shorts, much to my wife's chagrin. It's been fun!

Oh man I used to OD on the stooges. My kids still don’t get it.

And don’t underestimate something modern like Sponge Bob. It is genius.

You should avail yourself of Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry DVDs as well. Agree with Dio, Sponge Bob is comedy gold.

Just kidding - good post. Your having fun AND creating some good memories for both of you. Agree you need to work in the Looney Tunes characters if you can.

Last year for Christmas my oldest son gave me the collectors set of all the 3 Stooges episodes... that and Band of Brothers are my family jewels!!!

Just kidding...another vote for Sponge Bob. It has something for both kids and parents.

Benny Hill and Monte Python are on the list for later. She does like Sponge Bob, but so do I. I found old Looney Tunes on YouTube, but she likes the Rascals and Stooges better.

Worster; I have the Stooges complete set too! The Rascals complete set as well. We're having great fun and hopefully she'll remember this someday and do the same with her kids.
