lawyers - selling old law books

There are new lawyers & law firms that will often buy them.

I'd suggest contact your local bar association and seeing if you can place an ad in their mailer.

Craiglist & the classifieds, as well.

Old law books no longer have much value. The cost of the annual updates can approach the price of buying new books. And, in the modern era, most research gets done online.

When my father died, my mother donated his Vernon's and USCA codes to a local junior college that has a legal assistant program. They were thrilled to add them to their library and gave her a nice tax receipt.

Alternatively, if they are not up to date with current pocket parts and supplements, they are probably worth more to a decorator or set designer for use as props than they are to a lawyer as library additions. Again, thinking of the donation/tax receipt angle, perhaps you have a local nonprofit community theater group that can put them in their prop room?
