If it's merely for recovery of property damage, you may have a difficult time finding an attorney that will take you case on terms you would like.

There is no recovery for attorney's fees on a third-party property damage claim. That means you will either have to pay on an hourly basis, which may quickly exceed the amount of property damage you've incurred (which is all you basically recover).

Or you can hope he will accept it on a contingency fee basis - which means if you do recovery, you will pay a percentage of your recovery. That means you pay part of the amount it takes to repair you car, so you don;t have enough left over to pay for your car's damage.
